This study looks at the Netflix series "Chamkila" and how it shows Punjabi culture and identity to a global audience through language. Using a sociolinguistic approach, it analyzes the use of language and code-switching in the series. By examining scenes and dialogues, the study finds themes related to language use, cultural practices, and traditional settings. The research emphasizes the role of media in shaping global views of cultural identities, showing how "Chamkila" helps the world understand and appreciate Punjabi culture. It also explores how the series affects the sense of cultural belonging among Punjabi communities worldwide. The study stresses the need for real representation in media to promote understanding between cultures. By focusing on language, it shows how media shapes and reflects cultural stories. The findings of this research are the transformative power of media in shaping global perceptions of cultural identities and contributing to the ongoing discourse on media representation and cultural identity in a globalized world
