This research set out to research the impact of co-curricular activities (CCA) on grades in elementary schools of privately-owned education institutions in Islamabad. The incorporation of non-academic activities in the formal curriculum is viewed as an essential requirement for the holistic growth, but there is little empirical research on whether such activities are directly related to quantitative academic performance at the localized context. A quantitative research method was used that was descriptive in nature. A total of 50 elementary teachers in the selected elementary schools were used as the target population (Kids Campus Elementary School and Islamic International University Islamabad School). A convenience sampling strategy was used to pick a sample of 42 teachers. A self-reported 5-point questionnaire was used to collect the data and the questionnaire was developed in five-point Likert scale which proved to be highly reliable (a=0.752). Descriptive statistics that mainly involve frequency and percentage distribution were used to analyze the data. The findings were overwhelmingly that the respondents have a strong and positive correlation between the participation of students in various CCA and the overall academic performance of students and the grades. The study confirms the presence of CCA as an important part of elementary curriculum providing essential information to teachers and policymakers.
